PJSC “Central Cargo Bureau” was established in October 1994. The main activity of the company is the development of Declarations and Certificates on transport characteristics and conditions for the safe transportation of goods by water transport in accordance with international requirements.
This work is carried out on the basis of Order No. 152 of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine dated March 28, 2014, “On the appointment of PJSC ”Central Cargo Bureau” as a specialized organization for providing information about cargo for the purpose of its safe maritime transport.”
Over more than 30 years of operation, the company has established itself in the market for cargo information and safe transportation as a highly professional company whose priorities are maritime safety and objective test results.
The mission of PJSC “Central Cargo Bureau” is to provide customers with information on the safe transportation of cargo by sea and river routes by accurately determining the conditions of their transportation and preventing environmental pollution.
As a founding member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Marine and River Surveyors and a member of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we also provide services for determining the quality and quantity of cargo and goods.
Our company has an extensive network of representative offices in Ukrainian sea and river ports, which allows us to serve the largest freight forwarders operating in several ports simultaneously.
To ensure the most complete and reliable information about cargo, the company has compiled a unique library of IMO publications and national regulations, which is constantly being expanded, updated, and, if necessary, converted into electronic form for ease of search and data transfer. Today, the library contains more than 100 international and national conventions, codes, laws, regulations, and reference guides.
The staff of PJSC “Central Cargo Bureau” consists of highly qualified specialists with higher maritime education and experience in the industry. To ensure high quality of services, we have implemented a system of continuous professional development, quality monitoring, and reporting, and we take into account customer recommendations for improving processes and services.
Representative offices are equipped with modern office equipment and communication facilities to respond promptly to customer requests. The bureau’s laboratories are equipped with modern equipment and accredited by the State Standard of Ukraine. Laboratory tests of cargoes for parameters affecting transport safety are carried out in accordance with international and national regulatory documents.
